Synopsis : When Harry Tries to Marry has been directed by Nayan Padrai and shows the story of an Indian boy, and his wedding! Rahul Rai has made his debut as an actor with this film, playing the character of Harry. He is a bachelor in New York, having a lot of dreams to find true love in life. He has seen no love between his parents, who have been divorced since long. Soon after that, Harry is determined to find a perfect match for himself, because he doesn’t want to live a chaotic life like his parents. He remains in pursuit of love, but the strange thing is that he portrays his wish to have an arranged marriage. He asks his uncle to search for an Indian bride for him, with whom he can spend his life happily and with love. This wish of Harry surprises his friends and family, who had never thought that Harry would go in for an arranged marriage. As time passes, Harry finds a perfect bride for himself. Harry’s close American friend Theresa (Stefanie Estes) helps him make his wedding day special. It is during the planning, that they begin to grow close to each other, and he begins to ask himself whether he wants to have a relationship that is more than just friendship with Theresa. Harry has to take a decision, because his wedding day is nearing. He has to decide whether the idea of having an arranged marriage is good or if he loves Theresa!
