Plot : Green Lantern is a science-fiction movie, embracing a story based on the world renowned comic book character, which has the same name. The story shows a group of heroes named the Green Lantern Corps, who are responsible for saving the planet Earth from all sorts of threats that it faces from all the other galactic elements. All the members of this group wear a special ring, which makes them stronger than ordinary people and gives them the strength to battle with inter-planetary threats. Everything was going smooth in the universe until one day they realize that a certain thing called Parallax poses a big threat to the Earth and all its inhabitants. So much so that this thing is capable of wiping out all forms of life from the Earth in one go. They recruit a person who is a former pilot. His name is Hal Jordan, and he is the first human ever, who has found a place in this extra ordinary group. The man is extremely humble and has a girlfriend named Carol, who also works as a source of psychological strength for him. The woman is a pilot too, and helps Hal in overcoming all his inhibitions.
